We have more information about the shooting in front of Drake’s Toronto mansion at about 2 AM this morning.
Police are describing the incident as a drive-by. A security guard who works for Drake was struck in the chest outside of the home. He was found unconscious and was rushed to a local hospital, where he’s undergoing surgery.
Now that we know Drake’s home was directly targeted, it will invite more speculation that the shooting in connected to all the beef Drake is currently involved in.
In addition to his issues with Kendrick Lamar, which have been playing out in diss tracks, Drake’s relationship with fellow Toronto-area artist The Weeknd has deteriorated.
Drake’s Security Guard has been listed as the victim of the shooting at his property. Police describe the event as a drive by and said the security was found unconscious with gunshot wound to the upper chest. He was rushed to the local hospital and immediately underwent surgery.
