Despite the breakthrough success of her single “F.N.F.” Memphis rapper GloRilla claims that she has not made money from the song.

“F.N.F. (Lets Go)” rapper GloRilla and the song’s producer HitKidd got into an online spat over the weekend. On Sunday night (October 17), HitKidd gave a breakdown on Twitter about the song’s rise to prominence before GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Woods, signed to Yo Gotti‘s Collective Music Group.

In a slew of tweets, HitKidd alleged that a legal battle over “F.N.F.” may ensue, claiming that Woods “signed” the song to Collective Music Group without his permission.

Hitkidd added that he advised Woods and her manager to not use lawyers from CMG, although the two ultimately did.

Big Glo clapped back on her personal Facebook page, saying that she hasn’t made profit from “F.N.F.” and has only gotten paid from shows. She also implied that HitKidd feels slighted because she didn’t sign with his record label, Black Noize.

“I wrote every single lyric in every single song I ever put out and even after all this, I still got love for Hitkidd ’cause we came up together, even doe he been going behind my back ever since the song blew but dat’s another story for another day,” she wrote. “I just hate da fact he had to bring da business to social media when I could’ve been came out about the snake shit he been doing to me.”

In another post, Woods added that HitKidd was the only one who signed away the rights to “F.N.F.”

“Nigga, you signed da song away the first week (without me knowing) for [$50,000] because you didn’t know how big it was gone be. Should I keep going?” she wrote.

Since releasing “F.N.F. (Lets Go)”, Woods has been on the rise in hip-hop, recently collaborating with Cardi B on hit single “Tomorrow 2.” Earlier this month, Big Glo performed at the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards where she also won Best Breakthrough Artist.
