Logic’s last project, the concept album Ultra 85, didn’t make much of a mark on the charts.

But he had fun doing it.

However, those days are over, and Logic tells TMZ he’ll be going back to his old style because there are bills to pay.

“Ultra 85.  I put it out.  It was fun and fans had been waiting for it.  And I put my heart and soul into it.  But what I’ve noticed is I’ve been a run of doing super Hip Hop music.  That sh*t doesn’t pay the bills at all.  Because I made all my money before doing pop and turn up sh*t.   And I’ve been blessed to be in a position to make music from my heart.  “Next year, I’ma f**k em up. I’m about to drop all this, like, Playboi Carti trap, turn-up sh*t and go get a bag and have fun.”
