After Chris Rock mocked her short hair, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed that she had the autoimmune disease alopecia, which results in clumpy hair loss.
Could you believe that the famously bald 2Pac suffered from the same affliction?
During the press run for her new book, Jada revealed that Pac — who she calls her “soulmate” — wasn’t bald by choice.
“After he was in Northern California with the police officers that beat him up, he started losing his hair. And his alopecia patterns were far more extreme than mine,” Smith recalls. “I don’t think Pac ever talked about his alopecia, but he also looked really good with a bald head,” Smith notes. “But that was during a time and during an era that you wouldn’t — he just wouldn’t talk about it.”
Jada added that if Pac were alive today, she’s sure he’d speak about his condition publically as she has, joining DJ Vlad in confidently knowing what Pac would be talking about if he wasn’t gunned down in 1996.
