Last year, Eric Holder was found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Nipsey Hussle and was facing up to life in prison.

He got his sentence today and it’s a bit short of that.

The judge gave him 60 years.  That’s 25 years for the murder, 25 more for a firearm sentencing enhancement, and 10 for assault with a firearm.  He will get credit for the four years he’s already served.

Holder hit Nipsey almost a dozen times with a black semiautomatic in one hand and a silver revolver in the other and left him to die in the parking lot.

The initial theory on the murder was that Holder, who like Nipsey was a Rollin 60 Crip, shot Nip to death because the rapper and entrepreneur suggested he was a snitch.  However, prosecutors were able to argue there was pre-existing jealousy — and that led to premeditation and a first-degree murder conviction.
