Drake and The Weeknd have a long and increasingly complicated history.

In his latest 100 gigs leak, Drake released a 2013 video in which he and Weeknd are backstage.

Drake daps up everyone else as the Weeknd stands there awkwardly.  The video cuts off right as Drake and Abel interact.

By 2013, Weeknd was well-known through his mixtapes and on the verge of dropping his debut album.

He had also written for Drake on Take Care.

Why do you think Drake chose to drop this video—and cut it like he did—11 years later?
