Los Angeles, CA – Chris Brown is reportedly out of legal representation in the case of an alleged rape that occurred at his Tarzana home in 2017.

According to legal docs obtained by The Blast, the Indigo singer’s attorney Blair Berk has filed a motion to withdraw from the case.

She claims Brown has become difficult to work with and hasn’t met his contractual obligations. Additionally, she doesn’t have his real number and currently communicates with him through his longtime manager Ant Wilson.

“Over the past several months, Mr. Brown has not met his material obligations under the terms of our engagement letter, and has rendered it unreasonably difficult for Tarlow & Berk to carry out the representation effectively,” Berk said. “Our relationship with Mr. Brown has come to a point where Tarlow & Brown and I can no longer adequately defend or represent him.”

Zia Modabber, Brown’s main lawyer, also filed a motion to withdraw.

In February 2017, a Jane Doe accuser filed a suit against Brown and his friend Lowell Grissom Jr. a.k.a. Young Lo.

Brown was accused of supplying cocaine, ecstasy and weed to the alleged victim after confiscating her and other guests’ phones at a party where she was sexually assaulted. She claimed Grissom forced her to perform oral sex on a woman who was menstruating and held her against a washing machine while he raped her.

Last December, the accuser filed a motion for Brown to give his deposition regarding the 2017 incident. Grissom has denied the allegations against him.

Jane Doe is currently being represented by attorney Gloria Allred. Brown’s representation is now in flux.
