New York, NY – Ja Rule is looking out for the homeless during the coronavirus pandemic. The multi-platinum selling rapper and his ICONN company are donating reusable face masks to homeless shelters in the New York City area.

“I’ll be donating 2,000 masks to the homeless,” Ja said in an Instagram video. “You can go to my website ICONN.me and purchase my mask as well. For every mask purchased, we’ll also donate a mask on top of that.”

He added in the post’s caption, “We often forget about the one who needs us the most they’re deemed worthless, deplorable, the disenfranchised… but most are merely ppl who fell on hard times like a lot of ppl in this country are experiencing right now and could very well end up this way… COVID-19 is a message to mankind hope everyone’s listening… @knockknockgiveasock @princedovid @iconn_me ICONN.ME/MASK LINK IN BIO!!!”

Ja’s custom-designed masks are washable, double-layered and made of 100 percent cotton.

One mask can be purchased for $23.33. A seven-pack bundle is being offered at the discounted price of $108.62.

New York City has become the home of the worst COVID-19 outbreak in the United States. 78,000 confirmed cases and 3,600 deaths have been reported as Wednesday morning (April 8), according to Reuters.
