After their mini-beef in May when Jack Harlow didn’t recognize Brandy’s song, the two took the stage during the BET Awards 2022.

Jack Harlow and Brandy are flying first class together. After a slight mishap last month when Jack didn’t recognize Brandy’s 1998 track “Angel in Disguise” while visiting Ebro In the Morning on Hot97, the two hit the BET Awards 2022 stage to perform a remix of Jack’s hit single “First Class.”

The performance came right after Lil Wayne joined the Come Home the Kids Miss You rapper for their collaboration “Poison.” Also featured on Jack’s sophomore album are Drake, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake.

Last month, when playing ‘White-ish Wednesday’ on Ebro in the Morning, Jack was tested on his Brandy knowledge while co-hosts Ebro DardenPeter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez played “Angel in Disguise.” After Darden and Peter gave Jack a number of clues, including “Her brother is the reason a lot of people are famous,” and “Her brother has an amazing sex tape,” Laura revealed that the song was from Brandy. However, Jack was unaware that the Grammy-winning singer was Ray J‘s older sister.

The clip went viral, with Brandy clapping back. “I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing [h]is ass to sleep,” she tweeted.

Ultimately, Brandy released a remix of her own, which both performed during Sunday’s BET Awards 2022 ceremony.

“Painted pictures, Cinderella scriptures, but that don’t mean jack in the streets/Jack of all trades/Now I’m here jackin’ for beats,” Norwood raps on the track, alluding to Harlow.
