Cam Newton Wants Lil Wayne To Go At Kendrick Lamar, Says Drake Is Incapable

Cam Newton is team Drake, not team Kendrick Lamar. 

But still, he doesn’t think Drizzy has it in him to win a battle against the “Squabble Up” rapper. So, he wants Lil Wayne to go at him instead.

“I’m a fan of Drake,” said Cam on his 4th & 1 podcast. “But after Kendrick and this beef … I look at Drake differently. I don’t think Drake has it in him to go to the places that he needs to go to attack Kendrick properly … He won’t be able to do that with Dwayne Carter. I wanna see Lil Wayne … Just for the appreciation of the art, because Drake ain’t capable.”

Cam talked about Kendrick playing the halftime show at Super Bowl LIX as well, something he’s clearly not happy about. Like many, the ex-quarterback seems to believe that Wayne should’ve gotten the halftime slot since the game is in his hometown of New Orleans.

“You’re going to let this motherf*cker come into your motherf*ckin’ city on motherf*ckin’ February, and you ain’t gonna drop nothing?” he asked.
