Cam’Ron’s character in Paid In Full was based on notorious Harlem drug kingpin Alpo Martinez, who was shot and killed in 2021.

Nevertheless Cam wasn’t particularly nice to Alpo’s son, the rapper Popperazzi Po, when they met.

“I met Cam,” Po said during a chat with No Jumper.  “But when I met him, I was like, ‘Damn, I wish I never met him.”

According to Po, Cam was making fun of everyone.  But it still felt off when Cam went after him because he was not part of Cam’s circle.

“When I see y’all playing, I don’t know to what degree y’all playing. I just seen how he treated people around him and was like, ‘Damn, why he gotta be like that? And he said some slick sh*t too, like, ‘N*ggas think because they pops is somebody I gotta respect them.’ He said some s*it like that, so I felt it was an indirect shot at me.”

Oh, Rico.
