For the second straight week, a rap album has gotten a big downgrade in its first-week sales projection.

Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape was initially slated for a 220K to 250K opening week.

It is now only set for 165K, according to HitsDailyDouble

Unlike the downgrade for Young Thug’s Business Is Business the week before, this won’t cost Vert chart position.

Pink Tape is still set to top the Billboard chart, making it the first number rap album or single of 2023.

It just won’t be as strong a number one as first thought.
