From co-hosts Jack Harlow and Nicki Minaj to sets from Lizzo, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and more, here’s artists who rocked the MTV VMAs 2022.

Held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Sunday (August 28), hip-hop and R&B stars aligned for the MTV VMAs 2022. The latest edition of the MTV Video Music Awards was co-hosted by LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow, the latter two artists who performed during the telecast.

Taking the stage during the pre-show was Florida’s own Saucy Santana with recent singles “Booty” and “Too Much.”

Jack Harlow brought “Glamorous Life” singer and former Black Eye Eyed Peas member Fergie along for the fun while performing hit single “First Class.” The Come Home the Kids Miss You will be embarking on his national tour with City Girls and The Homies in September.

Lizzo brushed off the haters and took to the stage for Special songs “About Damn Time” and “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready), heading on the road with Latto for The Special Tour in September.

The aforementioned Latto gave viewers “It’s Givin” from her sophomore album 777.

Khalid joined electronic producer and DJ Marshmello for new single “Numb,” their latest collaboration since 2017’s “Silence.”

Head Barbie in charge Nicki Minaj took over the VMAs stage, performing a medley of hits and new single “Super Freaky Girl” before accepting the coveted Video Vanguard Award.

Eminem and Snoop Dogg performed live from the metaverse with their new single “From the D 2 the LBC,” in which MTV partnered with blockchain company Yuga Labs.

Throughout the show were Extended Play Stage sets from You Still Here, Ho? rapper Flo Milli and JID, who released his third album The Forever Story last week.
