Hip-hop experiences a resurgence this week since a few notable names have released their debut albums. There are also R&B singers that have unveiled thorough drops worth paying attention to. Vince Staples’ latest RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART has surfaced. It’s a solid lyrically-driven album featuring Lil Baby, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.Â

On it, she proves she can’t be boxed into one genre, her features are also stacked, they include Nicki Minaj, G Herbo, Young M.A, and Lil Durk (to name a few). Marcel Allen is a Freeport rapper who has been on our radar for quite some time – earlier this week Allen dropped EBONY GODDESS his first album.Â
In the realm of R&B Syd has blessed us with the Broken Hearts Club her first solo album since 2017. It’s a superb listen and she’s joined by Lucky Daye, Smino, and Kehlani on the 13-track album. LAYA releases Um, Hello her debut EP; it’s a robust compilation featuring her expansive sound.Â
