Superstar Pride, who was the hottest young rapper in the game for a moment, is being held without bail for shooting and killing his barber, Marcus Wheatle.
Wheatle’s grandmother, who witnessed the murder, believes Pride killed her grandson because he refused to accompany him on a trip to California for a video shoot.
Mississippi police suggest a mental health break may have been ultimately responsible for Pride’s violent behavior.
