Lil Wayne is giving back again this holiday season. Weezy F. Baby is hosting Tunechi’s Turkey Give-A-Way on Tuesday (November 24) in his hometown of New Orleans, which will donate Thanksgiving turkeys to 500 different households across the Big Easy.

“Tomorrow I’ll be giving back to the people and city that raised me!” he wrote in a Twitter post. “If you’re in Orleans, St. Charles or Jefferson parish please visit the link in my bio and sign up to have a turkey delivered to your home. Happy Holidays.”

Along with Young Money, Wayne is teaming up with former LSU star defensive back LaRon Landry and his foundation to execute the turkey drive and make this Thanksgiving a bit easier for people in what’s been an otherwise tough 2020.

“The ideal goal and mission is to deliver to people that can’t make it out to purchase the essentials needed to have a blessed Thanksgiving,” Young Money’s website reads in its mission statement for the drive.

Many were complimentary of Wayne’s philanthropy, but some still haven’t forgotten about his Donald Trump endorsement and photo-op from October.

“But you sold them (your people) out for a Trump endorsement,” one Twitter user sounded off. “We didn’t forget. Go hand that out in your gated communities…. that’s all you looked out for when it really counted.”

When boxing legend Mike Tyson returns to the ring this weekend to take on Roy Jones Jr., Wayne will also be in attendance to provide some entertainment. According to the Triller-sponsored flyer, Weezy will be performing multiple songs at the Pay-Per-View event on Saturday (November 28).
