The producer spins a lean and lucid set for the first-ever live-streamed (and free) edition of Adult Swim Festival.

Adult Swim Festival may have come and gone, but there are some crucial remnants of the two-day program archived for your enjoyment.

The bill for the network’s first-ever live-streamed (and free) edition served up spectacles for music and animation geeks alike, as well as some crossover content for those in the intersections. There were panel discussions with the creators of Rick and Morty, The Eric Andre Show, Lazer Wulf, Tuca and Bertie, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force (with a special appearance from Thundercat and surprise guest, Ariana Grande,) as well as live watch parties for a number of shows. The musical component for the online festival had an equally broad reach, tapping Kamasi Washington, DAWN, Rico Nasty, Open Mike Eagle, and Kaytranada, whose full DJ set has been uploaded for repeat rotations.

Spinning for 30 minutes with a wild kaleidoscopic filter set against the screen, the producer stacked his set with originals, unreleased edits, and songs from friends and collaborators, building a potent sequence with butter-smooth transitions. The set marks his second pandemic-era dispatch in as many weeks, performing a live-steamed set at Monreal’s Societe Des Arts Technologiques just last week. Kaytranada also recently hit his Soundcloud page with an increasingly rare upload, sharing a hypnotic remix of Sade’s “Love is Stronger Than Pride.

You can watch Kaytranada’s full set for Adult Swim Festival 2020 below. Head over to Adult Swim’s Youtube page to comb through the mountain of panels, watch parties, music videos and live performances from Friday and Saturday’s broadcast.
