The debate over who’s the greatest rapper of all time has been ongoing for decades — but when Eminem weighs in on the subject, Hip Hop fans tend to listen.

On Saturday night (June 13), the diamond-selling MC decided to reply to a Twitter post from NoLifeShaq asking the old age question: “Who The Greatest Rapper Of All-Time?” The idea was to DM 30 different rappers — including Em, Joyner Lucas, Hopsin, Lil Tjay and more — in an effort to get their selections.

To the host’s surprise, he got an answer from the one and only Slim Shady. Roughly two hours after the post went up, Shady rattled off Lil Wayne, 2Pac, Royce Da 5’9, JAY-Z, Redman, Naughty By Nature’s Treach, Kool G. Rap, The Notorious B.I.G. and KXNG Crooked has his top G.O.A.T. picks.

“For me, in no particular order,” he wrote. “Toss up between wayne, pac, royce, jay, redman, treach, g. rap, biggie and king crook.”

Eminem’s tweet follows his Live Q&A in support of The Marshall Mathers LP‘s 20th anniversary, which took place on May 27. During his time in the chat, Shady revealed who he believes is the most underrated rapper of all time — KXNG Crooked.

KXNG Crooked Reacts To Eminem’s Ultimate Co-Sign

Crooked offered a quick response after hearing about Em’s choice, telling HipHopDX, “That means a lot coming from a Jedi man. I’m grateful for his willingness to speak positive things about me in public because he doesn’t have to. I guess sometimes it takes a master to recognize another one. Thanks for showing me because I know to thank him now.”

The Slaughterhouse MC once again showed his appreciation for Em’s latest mention with a meme.
