Most rap figures who have weighed in on JAY-Z picking Kendrick Lamar, not hometown boy Lil Wayne, to play the Super Bowl have disapproved of the decision.

Some rather emphatically.

One might think 50 Cent would be among that group.

The 49-year-old usually relishes any opportunity to stick it to JAY-Z. He was also Drake-leaning during the beef between Drizzy and Kendrick Lamar.

However, when asked about the halftime show controversy, Fif endorsed Lamar.

“Kendrick deserves. As a solo artist, he is the guy,” Fif said.
