New Music Friday this week is heavy with hip-hop releases, but there are also a few drops from artists that are outside of the rap canon.
Kanye West returns with Donda (Deluxe); Isaiah Rashad also is back with The House Is Burning [Homies Begged] and Snoop Dogg’s album rollout is over, he’s shared Snoop Dogg Presents The Algorithm with features from Method Man, Benny The Butcher, Dave East and Jadakiss.
The talented musical chameleon Kaytranada emerges with Intimidated a feel-good EP with H.E.R., Thundercat, and Mach Mommy; Adele finally gives her fans 30; Cams Casino rolls out Winter Flower; rising singer Tamera presents a memorable project Afrodite and Bryson Tiller’s latest is the holiday-themed A Different Christmas.
Halle Berry’s new film Bruised recently received an all-female hip-hop soundtrack. The album executive produced by Berry and Cardi B is stacked with appearances from Latto, Saweetie, City Girls, Rapsody, Dreamdoll, and more.
