What does The Game, Lil Pump, and YG have in common?

They’ve all helped the streamer Vitaly catch a supposed child predator, although many suspect the videos are staged.

Now, Akon can be added to the list of artists joining the to-catch-a-predator trend. But he was in a video hosted by Russian streamer, Vitaly Zdorovetskiy.

Akon can be seen singing his 2004 hit “Locked Up” in the clip, while a man is being handcuffed by police. Again, some believe the clip was staged, but who knows at this point?

Either way, it seems this is a new way that celebrities are using to keep their name out there.

What do you think about this growing trend?
