In addition to his career as a battle rapper, Tsu Surf held a leadership position with the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips in New Jersey.

He admitted to that and more while pleading guilty to RICO charges in a New Jersey federal court earlier this year.

Surf, who the Feds charged with shooting at a rival gang member and possessing two weapons, was facing up to 30 years.

Today, he was sentenced to five.  The 33-year-old will also get three years probation and a $15,000 fine.

He already has about a year of time served.
