Tory Lanez’s New Toronto 3 is scheduled to drop in April. The Canadian rapper/singer shared the project’s release date and cover art social media on Monday (March 30).

Lanez previously indicated his third entry in the New Toronto series would be released in March. He also declared it would be last project for Interscope Records.
“ITS OFFICIAL, NEW TORONTO 3 COMES OUT MARCH !!!!” he wrote in February. “AND AS SOON AS YOU HEAR IT … I HAVE OFFICIALLY FINISHED MY DEAL WITH INTERSCOPE … ITS BEEN REAL.”

According to Lanez, there’s no ill will with his longtime label.
“And it’s no bad blood with the label @Interscope … I HAD A 5 ALBUM DEAL ….I GAVE THEM 12 PROJECTS /ALBUMS if u include all the mixtapes with original music,” he explained. “I can OFFICIALLY go on record and say I exceeded that 5 ALBUM MARK … AND IM STILL JUST GETTING MY FEET IN THE WATER.”

New Toronto 3 will be Lanez’s first entry in the series since 2017. The project is his follow-up to 2019’s Chixtape 5.
