Last month Tory Lanez was seen arguing with somebody from his team about wanting to drop a new album from prison.

He was then seen a few days later recording a verse over the phone but had to stop because of a prison riot.

But the rapper was eventually able to finish the project, and it’ll be released this Friday, March 7. The LP is called Peterson, and it’s a sequel to his 2020 album Daystar.

Tory shared the cover as well, which is a prison photo of him flexing his muscles. 

 

“Dear 2025 … This COMEBACK is PERSONAL,” he wrote while plugging the LP. “ALBUM NAME – PETERSON SEQUEL OF – DAYSTAR. FRIDAY !”

Tory was sentenced to a 10-year bid in 2023 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, so he’ll probably have a lot to say about that on the new project.
