All YG was trying to do was honor the mother of his children Catelyn Sparks with an Instagram post on Mother’s Day. But instead, he was forced to defend Sparks after someone hopped in his comments section and compared her to Tekashi 6ix9ine. 

The Compton-bred rapper snapped back, “don’t get slapped my nigga,” which brought an abrupt end to that.

After The Shade Room re-posted the exchange, it didn’t take the King of New York Trolling long to weigh in. With a few words, he big-upped his “FEFE” collaborator Nicki Minaj for reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with Doja Cat’s “Say So (Remix)” while being snarky at the same time.

“Nicki is number 1 nobody cares about this,” he wrote, prompting an avalanche of comments berating him for being so brash.

Since the polarizing rapper’s release from prison last month, 6ix9ine seems to be intent on picking up where he left off before his November 2018 arrest. After copping a $300,000 chain, a fleet of luxury vehicles and Richard Millie watch, he got right back to work on new music.

On Friday (May 8), 6ix9ine made his grand re-entrance with a video for “GOOBA,” which amassed over 43 million YouTube views in 24 hours. In the process, he broke a YouTube record previously held by Eminem. 

His Instagram Live session, which marked his first public appearance since walking out of the Queens Detention Facility, also broke a record with over 1.9 million viewers tuning in.
