Back on November 1, 2022, Migos rapper Takeoff was shot and killed while playing dice in Houston.

Rumors were swirling about who was involved, and just two weeks ago a Prince Family associate named DJ Pat was indicted for the murder.

Takeoff’s mother Titania Davenport is now suing the property owners where her son was killed.

The lawsuit was filed in a Harris County court and claims negligence on the part of five companies; 810 Houston LLC, LVA4 Houston Greenstreet LP, Lionstone Partners LLC, Midway Companies LLC and Cushman and Wakefield of Texas, Inc.

The lawsuit claims the venue and its associated business entities were negligent by failing to provide a safe and secure environment for the party and allowing criminal activities to occur.

They are seeking more than $1 million in damages related to Takeoff’s death.

Rest in peace, Takeoff.
