Saweetie was supposed to release her debut album Pretty Bitch Music in the summer of 2021.
But Saweetie delayed the album to “reconstruct” some songs.
It still hasn’t dropped.
Saweetie explained why during a chat with Allure.
“I just feel like nobody was caring about my music,” Saweetie says of the people around her at that time. “To me, music is sacred. It’s coming from your spirit. You can’t just go finish an album in a week. That’s why it’s taking me so long. That’s why I haven’t dropped an album yet.”
In 2023 a Saweetie and Tyga tour was announced, and prompltely cancelled.
