Generational misunderstandings are a hallmark of most cultures.

They are particularly prevalent in the Hip Hop game, and Rod Wave, who’s 23, has made it clear what he thinks about the next gen.

“The younger people, I just never really rock with them,” Rod said. “I hate everything.  I hate the way they be talking on the Internet.  I hate how they value their relationships and sh*t.  I hate the sh*t they do and the sh*t they post.  This generation, I don’t like none of these hoes.  I don’t like none of these n*ggas, for real.  Whenever they come around me it’s just disgusting.”

Harsh characterization.  But is it true?
