Ever since Gunna was released from prison after being arrested on racketeering charges with other YSL members, snitching has been a heavily discussed topic.

Remy Ma is one of the latest people to weigh in on it, and she said civilians can also be snitches.

Some have said that a person who isn’t involved in street life doesn’t have to follow the street code of no snitching. But Remy doesn’t agree with that reasoning at all. [Jump to the 32:27-mark]

“I don’t discriminate,” she said on The Breakfast Club. “There’s no, ‘Oh you’re a civilian.’ If you’re telling on someone, you’re telling. You’re cooperating. That’s just that. And I feel like a lot of times, people be like, ‘Well they’re a civilian.’ If you’re a civilian, stay hanging with civilians and be around civilians. Don’t be a civilian and hang out with people that are like that. Don’t do it.”

“But then you try to justify what you did,” added Remy. “This is what y’all do … Keep these people that are really not built like that away from you because when the pressure’s on, they gonna fold. And I blame both parties. You shouldn’t have been hanging with them and you shouldn’t have had them around you.”
