The art for the forthcoming Verzuz battle between the Wu-Tang Clan members was done by Drez William.

The next Verzuz battle is an epic pairing pitting Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah against each other. So, it’s only right that the event gets some epic art to promote it. On Wednesday, Verzuz shared the date for the upcoming battle with flyer art done by artist Drez William.

The art shows Raekwon and Ghostface facing each other with the Wu-Tang logo in the background. Beneath them is a tarantula and an eagle, which are nods to their infamous jewelry pieces — Raekwon’s white gold tarantula chain and Ghostface’s gold eagle bracelet.

The battle takes place on Saturday, March 20, via the brand’s Instagram account, as well as Triller. Swizz Beatz and Timbaland revealed their deal with Triller earlier this week. The two producers have become primary shareholders in the network and, as a part of the deal, the 43 artists who have participated in the series to this point have received stakes of their equity. According to Bobby Sarnevesht, Triller’s executive chairman and co-owner, the move aligns with the company’s “artist first, music first” vision.

“There is no more disruptive and innovative brand in music today than Verzuz,” said Sarnevesht. “[Both brands] share the ‘artist first, music first’ vision. We view this acquisition as more of a partnership than an acquisition, as Swizz, Timbaland and the other 43 artists who are all becoming shareholders and partners in Triller Verzuz from this day forward become our voice.”
