Skrilla was shot in Chicago early Thursday morning.
He was leaving a studio on the Northwest side of town when he was ambushed by five to six men who jumped out of a vehicle and opened fire.
He is currently in critical condition, with some reports he was shot in his neck.

Three to four other men were also shot in the attack, but there is no news of fatalities.
