OJ Simpson, famous running back, pitchman, and (alleged) murderer, is dead at 76.
According to his family, he passed away after a battle with prostate cancer.
On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer.
He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.

After a Hall of Fame NFL career, Simpson was dramatically arrested for killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman.
He was acquitted of the double murder but lost a multi-million dollar wrongful death lawsuit to the Goldman and Brown families. Â He later went to prison for nine years for stealing sports memorabilia at gunpoint.
