Nelly Furtado was a recent guest on the Call Her Daddy podcast and talked about wanting to work with Drake.

Both of them are Canadian, and Nelly says people would love it if they jumped on a song together.

At one point during the interview, the singer remembered a time when Drake invited her to one of his shows in Toronto. She turned him down, though, and explained why.

“He asked me at 11 p.m. to show up at 1 a.m. I love him to death, but I was like, ‘I’m not showing up without glam,’ because, of course, he’s so famous it will be everywhere,” Nelly explained. “I couldn’t make it that time but anyways, I love him a lot. He’s a great guy. He really put Toronto on the map in a different kind of way and Canada in general.”

Drake hasn’t responded to Nelly’s story yet or her interest in collaborating with him. Would you like to hear them on a song together?
