There’s been talk of a Metro Boomin-Drake beef ever since Metro agreed with social media that his Heroes & Villains album is better than Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss LP, even though Her Loss keeps winning rap album of the year.

Drake responded to that comment by borrowing a line from Jay-Z’s song “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love).”

“Damn little mans I’m just trying to do me / If the record’s two mil I’m just trying to move three,” wrote Drake.

Despite that aggression, Metro says there is no beef.

“Not deep at all lmao,” Metro responded to an inquiry over the state of his “beef” with Drake.
