Meek Mill has seemingly responded to some recent comments 50 Cent made about him during an interview with The Breakfast Club.

As the Power exec was doing press rounds for his new ABC crime drama For Life last week, he sat down with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy where the topic of Drake and Meek’s old beef came up.

“People who pick fights with people who don’t want to fight, those are punks,” he says. “Meek Mill, when I ran into him finally, he said, ‘I need to talk to you like a man.’ He pulled me on the side. I was looking at him and I wanted to punch him. The stuff that he said, I wanted to punch him. And I didn’t. I just looked at him and said, ‘Yo, I didn’t understand why you felt like that.’

“He’s a battle artist. That’s where you come from, so when he says something to Drake and then doesn’t respond, and Drake says something back, I’m gonna lap him. I was waiting for you … he felt like I was kicking him when he was down because how he felt about the momentum Drake had.”

On Saturday (February 15), after the clip had circulated online, Meek tweeted, “It’s not a coincidence all these people bringing my name up at once lol I been moving too right and certain people not feeling it because most of these guys can’t get in the room!

“I been outside for years in the field!!! Now I’m helping changing laws now and freeing people.”

Quentin Miller, who has been accused of being Drake’s ghostwriter in the past, also brought up Meek earlier this week. On the five-year anniversary of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Miller shared a since-deleted video explaining how Meek’s ghostwriting allegations made his life hell.

“So, a lot people been congratulating me and sending me messages and shit about the five-year anniversary of If You’re Reading This and shit,” he said. “It’s pretty much taboo for me to even talk about it.

“Unfortunately I don’t have the good memories about it everyone has, my good memories were all murdered the day Meek Mandela… The day he put my name out there and just blew up my whole spot. That shit just fucked everything up for me, bro.”
