J. Cole made plenty of waves after he dropped his new song “cLOUDs” a few days ago.

A lot of people, like Kevin Durant, praised the cut and said Cole is in top form.

But Freddie Gibbs doesn’t like that Cole talked tough on the song since he backed out of his battle with Kendrick Lamar.

“N*ggaz be rapping about how they kill rappers and kill they careers and blah blah blah but he backing outta rap beefs,” tweeted Gibbs a few days ago.

One person who agrees with him is Mal from the New Rory & MAL podcast.

“He can’t talk like that,” said Mal about Cole in a recent episode. “Other rappers that lost battles or won battles, they can talk greasy forever, because you got in the ring and actually battled. But when you do what Cole did, as a high-level MC as Freddie Gibbs is, he has the right to hear that and be like ‘yo, why is he still talking like that?”

Do you agree with Mal and Gibbs?
