If there was ever time for a BasedGod Curse — it’s now. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc on the world, Lil B is contemplating putting his infamous curse on the insidious virus.

The former Pack MC made the announcement Twitter on Thursday (March 26).

“ALSO I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT ABOUT PUTTING ‘THE BASEDGODS CURSE’ ON THE VIRUS BUT I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE IF ITS AN ACT OF GOD OR IF THE VIRUS IS MAN MADE,” he wrote in all caps. “STAY TUNED.”

Lil B’s wheels are already churning. While speaking to RealStreetRadio, he revealed he’ll be meeting with a doctor on the frontline soon who can educate him on how to handle the unprecedented situation.

“The curse is as real as the cure,” he tells DX. “I am going to talk to a doctor soon who is with patients that have COVID-19 and get more information if I should put a curse on this virus. Also, I’m going to get more information if this is an act of god or man made. Stay tuned.”

Lil B Permanently Calls Off Curse On Houston Rocket James Harden

Lil B hasn’t issued a curse in awhile. In August 2018, he actually lifted a curse from Houston Rocket James Harden, explaining he’d met with the late Bushwick Bill, J. Prince Jr. and the Rap-A-Lot team.

“Huge announcement, man,” he said on Instagram at the time. “Courtesy of the mob, mob ties, Rap-A-Lot. Hey, James Harden, shout out to Houston. The curse is officially done. Mob ties, they made it happen. Shout out to J. Prince Jr.”

During an interview with DX, he explained how the BasedGod Curse worked — most importantly, BasedGod — not Lil B — is the only one who can issue it.

“Right now, everybody’s good, but Lil B can’t curse,” he said. “The BasedGod curses. I just let folks know. Don’t put the blame on Lil B. No, no, no.”
