MixedByAli hopped on Instagram to commemorate the many accomplishments of Nipsey Hussle with a photo of his plaques — ranging from the gold-certified single “Hussle & Motivate” and Kendrick Lamar-collaborated “Dedication,” to his Grammy-nominated debut album, Victory Lap.

“You did it bro @nipseyhussle!” Ali, who mixed the album, captioned the post.

The Grammy Award-winning engineer also posted the plaques to his Instagram Story on Wednesday (May 6).

“Rest in peace, my boy, you did it. You fuckin’ did it,” Ali said during the Story. “The Marathon Continues, my boy. You did it.”

Hussle’s Victory Lap reached over one million sales units on January 8 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 shortly after the Crenshaw native’s death. More recently, Nip became a Grammy Award winner at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards for his collaborations “Racks in the Middle” and “Higher.”

In a minor court update, Hussle’s alleged killer Eric Holder‘s trial has now been delayed to June 8. The accused murderer was scheduled to go to court last month, before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of all Los Angeles courthouses.

Holder faces one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
