Following his 2021 EP Intimidated, Grammy-winning producer Kaytranada has released new Anderson .Paak collaboration “Twin Flame.”

Kaytranada and Anderson .Paak have reconnected for new single “Twin Flame.” The song makes their first collaboration in six years, previously teaming up on 99.9% track “GLOWED UP.” The track also boasts a new black and white Anderson .Paak-directed video.

“Twin Flame” arrivess nearly one year after Kaytra’s 2021 three-track EP Intimidated, which featured Thundercat, H.E.R. and Mach-Hommy. While the Grammy-winning producer last released sophomore album Bubba in 2019, he’s currently on The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour with fellow supporting acts Snoh Aalegra and Mike Dean.

In 2021, Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars joined forces as R&B and soul duo Silk Sonic, releasing debut album An Evening With Silk Sonic. The duo will continue their Las Vegas residency An Evening With Silk Sonic at Park MGM this month as .Paak is also prepping fifth album and first directed feature film K-POPS!, which will star both him and his son, Soul Rasheed.

“My mom is from Korea but she was adopted so I never knew anything about my Korean heritage until I met my wife. This movie is a reflection on my experience learning about this part of myself alongside my wife and son – and spending even more time with them!” .Paak said about the film in a statement. “I knew this would be something I should write and direct, and Stampede Ventures took a chance and trusted that I could pull this off. I’m excited to bring it to the big screen.”
