Just in time for Fright Night.

Closing in on a year since the release of his sophomore album, Kaytranada has released the fourth (and, presumably, final,) video for BUBBA.

Teased over the last week, the visuals for his Tinashe collaboration, “The Worst In Me” arrived this morning to usher in an early Halloween. The sultry video adopts some hallmark horror motifs in its vampiric seduction scheme; the grainy lens, the haunted house, and the infecting affection are all accounted for. Though he doesn’t appear in the video, the producer’s newly-donned double-pupil effect is transferred from the singer to her unsuspecting partner in the clip, keeping Kaytra’s spirit alive and well throughout the seasonally appropriate visual.

The video for “The Worst in Me” follows treatments for the Masego-assisted, “Need It,” the album’s lead single “10%” with Kali Uchis, and the instrumental suite, “Puf Lah.” Earlier this year, with the standalone release of BUBBA‘s instrumentals, he also shared looping visualizers for each track. And though he’s been laying low throughout 2020 (like the rest of the world during the pandemic era,), the producer has signaled another album was already in the works during an interview with Zane Lowe that accompanied the release of BUBBA late last year. But there’s no word on when that’s slated drop.

In the meantime, the producer’s kept up his collaborative streak, contributing production to recent projects from Aluna and Duran Bernarr, respectively. He also recently turned in a remix of Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now.”

Watch the new video for Kaytranada and Tinashe’s “The Worst In Me” above. Hold tight for the producer’s next transmission in the weeks ahead. His new albumBUBBA, is out now on all DSPs, featuring a hefty guest list with appearances from Pharrell, VanJess, Iman Omari, Estelle, GoldLink, Mick Jenkins, Teedra Moses, Charlotte Day Wilson, and the aforementioned.
