Add Juvenile to the list of those furious that Kendrick Lamar — and not hometown boy and former Hot Boy Lil Wayne — will be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show.
He sent a message to the league and Roger Goodell via social media.

“I’m mad about the Super Bowl situation just like y’all. Â But me hatred is toward the NFL. Â Not really the people who booked the halftime show. Â I’m mad at the motherf*ckers who hired the people that booked the halftime show. Â Y’all have done 11 Super Bowls in New Orelans. Â Y’all have yet to put a hip hop artist from New Orleans on the damn Super Bowl,” Juve said. Â “But this time it hit really hard when you don’t have Lil Wayne on the show. Â I don’t see how the f*ck y’all don’t have Lil Wayne doing the halftime show. Â Somebody who has a whole bunch of hits. Â Somebody who really deserves it and somebody who can bring out multiple artists of all genres. Â Think about it. Â So this goes to you, Roger Goodell, you need to get it right man. Â You coming in our city, sucking up our culture. Â Making all this money … and leaving us dry. Â It gotta stop.
Do you think the NFL will change course, and Juvenile will get to do half of “Back That Ass” up on the Super Bowl stage?
