Pro Era member Capital Steez took his life in 2012, something that Joey Badass rarely talks about.

But he did address it on the new song “Survivors Guilt,” featuring Ab-Soul. The cut is the latest single off the Pro Era leader's forthcoming album "2000."

“STEEZY told me get ’em so I got em / Now my n*gga gone, he will never be forgotten / Ever since he left I’ve just been struggling without him …  Then I caught a little wave and headed back to shore / And that’s when he started drowning / And he had no one around him so partially I feel it’s my fault.”

You can check out the somber track above. Rest in peace, Steez.
