Before he was a podcaster with all the hot takes, Joe Budden was a rapper of some repute.

He even had a big hit:  The 2003 track “Pump It Up”.

Or at least we remember it as a big hit.

We were surprised to learn that “Pump It Up” just became a gold record — 20 years after its release.

Congrats, we guess.
