Ja Rule and Fat Joe are Set to Square Up in The Next Live ‘Verzuz’ Battle
Verzuz returns on Tuesday, September 14th, live from Madison Square Garden.
Ja Rule and Fat Joe will be going hit-for-hit in the next installment of Verzuz.
Taking a cue from their wildly entertaining prior matchup with Dipset and The LOX, the follow-up will also be a live event set in NYC’s iconic Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, September 14th. According to a flier announcing the Verzuz pairing (see below,) tickets for the show will go on sale Tuesday, September 7th. For those still holding off on in-person events, the performance will, of course, also be broadcasted live on Triller.
And while we’re still a few weeks out from the New York rap stars hitting the stage, social media is already taking picks. So far, the crowd appears to be overwhelmingly in Ja’s corner. Some (namely, Freddie Gibbs,) are even calling for a different bout altogether, suggesting the only appropriate contender for Ja would be longtime nemesis, 50 Cent, which is kinda hard to argue at this point. Others are empathizing with Ashanti, who will surely show up to perform songs with both rappers.
See the flier for the next Verzuz showdown below. Stay tuned for the ticket link to go live next week and scroll on for some of the early reactions from Twitter.
