Buffalo, NY – Fresh off of Paris Fashion Week, during which Westside Gunn made an appearance at the Off-White Men’s Fall 2020 show, and a January 23 performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the Griselda team drops a gritty black and white Rodney Passé-directed visual for their WWCD standout “Cruiser Weight Coke.”

Filmed at Buffalo’s famed Niagara Café and kicking off with a tribute to Chinegun, the lush, cinematic footage (inter-spliced with news clips) fits the dark organ-filled song like a glove.

“Griselda has a sound; we have a formula … we’re not about to change that,” Gunn exclaimed in a cutaway clip before his verse. “What everyone else is doing doesn’t concern me, honestly.”

He adds, “Let’s not hold onto this. The world needs to hear this now.”

When it comes to Griselda, that statement couldn’t be more descriptive of their approach. With their major-label debut finally out in the world, 2020 is poised to be their biggest year yet with every act on the roster, including Keisha Plum, set to release projects. Westside Gunn himself has two highly anticipated projects on the books: an LP with Madlib as well as the recently announced Pray For Paris.
