When Taylor Swift announced last week she would be dropping a deluxe edition of her record-setting album Midnights, it became clear that Lil Durk wouldn’t be getting his second straight number-one album with Almost Healed.

It turns out he would have come up short even if Swift didn’t last-minute step on his date.

Almost Healed did 124K in its first week.  That will lag the 283K Midnights put up and the 127K Durk’s good buddy (and Almost Healed feature) Morgan Wallen’s One Thing At A Time did in its 13th week.

It also means there still hasn’t been a number-one rap album in 2023, but Travis Scott is likely to end that this month.
