Mega Ran is teaming up with Slum Village’s Young RJ for a collaborative album titled 2HandsUp. Ahead of the LP’s March release, the newly-formed duo premieres the lead single “Pray” featuring Abstract Orchestra and Daru Jones on RealStreetRadio.

“We went to Detroit to write and record this, and shot a video, and it really changed the way I wrote… the approach was different and the vibe was the change I knew I needed creatively,” Mega Ran tells DX. “Nina Simone said art should reflect the times, and this album will definitely do that. As much as I wish it didn’t need to, it will. We all need prayer now more than ever.”

He adds, “RJ killed the beat and so I just tried to keep up. I’m excited to get this project out for the people. Put 2 Hands Up!”
