Drake shocked the world today by announcing his intention to sue Spotify and Universal Music Group for promoting Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Not Like Us” through bots, payola, and other illegal means.

What is particularly surprising about this is that UMG is also Drake’s label, and streaming services like Spotify have been very good to the Canadian wonder over the years.

Case in point, Drake just had his ninth song from 2018 pass a billion streams — the most any artist has put up past a billion in any year.

Drake has 21 billion plus songs overall, the most for any rapper.
