Due to having COVID, Drake has postponed the Young Money Reunion. Drake has not yet announced new dates.

The Young Money reunion will have to be put on pause.

On Monday (August 1), Drake went to Instagram and announced that he was postponing the Young Money Reunion show that was supposed to close out the October World Weekend.

The reason? The rapper has COVID-19. Drake has not yet announced new dates. But it should be noted, Drake has teased a 2023 world tour with the crew in the past.

It’s a bummer way to close out the October World Weekend, a three-day concert event that featured Lil Baby, Chris Brown, and a collection of “Canadian North Stars.” Those all stars included Canadian singers Keshia ChantĂ©, Shawn Desman and Nelly Furtado along with rappers k-os, Kardinal Offishall, Jelleestone and more.

During the “Canadian North Stars” performance, Drake hit the stage with Furtado, who performed pop hits like “Promiscuous” and “I’m Like a Bird.” (Back in July, Drake hit the stage with Backstreet Boys to perform “I Want It That Way.”)

There will still be various ways to get your Young Money fix over the next couple of months. Nicki Minaj will also co-headline Rolling Loud New York in September with A$AP Rocky and Future. Also, Lil Wayne will return to the festival circuit later this month for Lil Weezyana Festival 6. Also on the bill are Coi Leray, Moneybagg Yo, Babyface Ray, Rob 49 and more.

Back in June, Drizzy released his latest album Honestly, Nevermind. The LP became his 11th album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
