Formed in 2011, The Four Owls — comprised of U.K. rappers Leaf Dog, Fliptrix, Verb T and BVA — have continually pumped out thought-provoking, emotive and undiluted lyricism. The group’s new single “100%” is no exception.
Produced by the inimitable DJ Premier, the track serves as a slice of The Four Owls’ forthcoming album, Nocturnal Instinct, and acts as the follow-up to their first collaboration with Preemo, “Think Twice.” This time, Preemo laces the track with his trademark scratches, proclaiming The Owls as “kings of their throne.”
In addition to Premier, Nocturnal Instinct also boasts contributions from R.A .The Rugged Man, Roc Marciano, Kool G Rap, Masta Killa and Smelliginton Piff.
